BART Transbay Tube to be Closed Labor Day Weekend to Enable Repairs

BART is encouraging travelers to plan ahead, avoid unnecessary transbay travel, or to find alternate means of transportation across the Bay during Labor Day weekend. BART will close the West Oakland Station and will not run trains between West Oakland and Embarcadero stations on September 5,6, & 7th, while they repair a critical section of track near the Transbay Tube. MTA Conducting Nightly Shutdowns of Metro Tunnel for Upgrades

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) recently started the the Radio Replacement and Blue Light Emergency Telephone Replacement projects. BART to Officially Open New Civic Center Bike Station on August 18

You are invited to the Grand Opening of BART's new Bike Station at Civic Center Station on Tuesday, August 18, at 10:00 am. BART is nearly tripling the number of bike parking spaces to 216 through additional corrals as well as a bike room.
