UPDATE:  Van Ness Improvement Project This civic improvement project will bring San Francisco’s first Bus Rapid Transit system. To maximize the benefits of construction, we will also be replacing major utilities including water, sewer and emergency firefighting water systems, repaving Van Ness Avenue, enhancing streetlights and landscaping, and installing new sidewalk lighting and rain gardens.
