Featuring photos of the underground San Francisco punk scene of the 1980s, Alternative Voices is a new exhibit in the Jewett Gallery at the Main Branch of the San Francisco Public Library. Highlighting the photography of Jeanne Hansen and interviews by Jonah Raskin, also featured in their book of the same name; KQED notes, “The exhibit works as a time machine back to a San Francisco long since vanished, and a window into the shows, protests, punk houses and venues of the period.”
