Through November 13
“The Global Library Project is a stirring photography exhibit that acts as a love letter to librarians, to the written word, and to histories preserved,” according to an article on the exhibit on KQED Arts; adding, “(That it’s on show at San Francisco’s main public library should come as no surprise.)”
A photography exhibit by Robert Dawson, it features all things libraries, from Germany to Tel Aviv, and present to past. Dawson’s work focuses on what libraries mean to communities, which goes much deeper than just the books on their shelves.
