Parade: June 8; Kick-Off: June 14
This year’s Juneteenth Celebration includes “…the main event: a flagship parade and celebration in the heart of the City that engages, inspires, and highlights unifying Black vibrancy,” according to the Juneteenth event site. This free, community parade starts at the Embarcadero waterfront at 11am, travels up Market Street and ends with a family-friendly celebration at Civic Center Plaza (noon-6pm).

The Official Kick Off Celebration with Mayor London Breed at City Hall, focuses on “The Evolution of Our Music.”
