Bike Repair & Clothing Fix-it Clinic and at the Main Branch

September 12, 11am-1pm

Does your bike need a tune up? Wheel it over to the Bike Fix-It Clinic at the Main Branch of the San Francisco Public Library for a free tune-up and basic repairs provided by BikeMobile. Expert bike mechanics will assess your bike and fix common issues like: Flat tires, brake and gear adjustments, Chain and tire replacements.

While your bike is being fixed, learn tips and tricks to keep it in top shape!

Please note:

  • Limit one bike per person.
  • They cannot replace missing wheels or gears.
  • Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Also happening inside the Main Branch, a free clothing fix-it clinic. Bring an item of clothing needing a repair, maybe a sweater with a pulled thread or a pair of jeans needing a patch, and learn how to fix it!

This event is part of a partnership between San Francisco Environment the San Francisco Public Library and a Zero Waste Grant with BikeMobile, supporting sustainable transportation and expanding community repair resources.
