Because eL Seed’s work is rooted in narrative, we’re hosting an evening of stories that inspired the murals. Co-hosted by eL Seed and Joe Garcia, this conversation will explore the creative process, themes, and voices that brought the project to life. More here.
Community Painting Days
On January 15 and 16, noon-4pm, Orpheum Theatre/UN Plaza
Participate in painting a community mural at The Orpehum Theatre; ambassadors, the artist and other will be present to provide more information and insight into this work and the companion mural at San Quentin.
Mural Unveiling
January 17, 3-5pm, Orpheum Theatre/UN Plaza
The el Seed mural on the wall of the 75-foot tall Orpheum Theatre will be unveiled to the community at a free, public unveiling. No RSVP needed to attend this particular event. More here.
