SFUSD’s Arts Festival’s final Skate Rock Roll Read of the season is taking place at Fulton Plaza, 11am-3pm on Saturday April 26! This fun, free all ages event will feature various activation elements for kids and their families.
The events feature live performances, open skateboarding space hosted by Skate Like A Girl, interactive hands-on creative art activities led by local artists, book giveaways by the San Francisco Public Library, live-painting by APEXER and community-based resources for youth and families. Come be part of the outdoor performance space in the heart of Civic Center! In April, special events include skateboarding demos, designing skate sneakers, and creating signature skateboard deck designs.
Come witness SFUSD students showcase their artistic skills and passion on the outdoor stage. Partners include SF Public Libraries, SF Arts Commission, SF Recreation and Parks, SFUSD, Skate Like a Girl, APEXER, KDUB, Youth Speaks, The Mix, SoleSpace Lab, and SF Rock Project.
