The San Francisco Chronicle‘s John King visited the new UN Plaza Skate Plaza to see what it was all about and found how skateboarding is bringing life and vitality to the area. “There were skaters of all ages, each following their own whim — skittering over bricks and popping onto curves, ascending onto polished black granite slabs, making runs at a sort of flattened pyramid.
