Summer at the SF Symphony

Featuring a wide array of musical events at the Davies Symphony Hall and outdoor venues, the SF Symphony's summer lineup has something for everyone.

SF JAZZ’s High School All-Star Concert

Featuring two ensembles - the Big Band, led by Paul Contos, and the Combo, led by Dann Zinn - the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars concert features Bay Area high school age jazz musicians. 

SF JAZZ’s 2021-2022 Season: Opening Week

SF JAZZ's 2021-2022 season kicks off with the return of in-person performances from Kris Bowers, Kat Edmonson, Zakir Hussain with Eric Hardland & Abbos Kosimov, Christian Sands, Pat Metheny Side-Eye, and Kassa Overall.

Fleet Week 2022: 1st Marine Division Band & Ceremonial Band Concert

"Whether performing for the President of the United States, foreign dignitaries, local military commands, or various communities throughout the United States, the 1st Marine Division Band represents the very best of Marine Corps music and is the 'Pride of the Division'." 

Community Open House at the SF Opera

The free event includes "musical performances from the San Francisco Opera Orchestra, Chorus, and soloists, backstage show-and-tell tours, theatrical make-up tutorials, and more!"

Holiday Soul at the SF Symphony

Featuring "soul, jazz, and Christmas classics," this festive performance by Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir with the SF Symphony will deliver "vocal fireworks and inspirational energy." Also featuring vocalist Yolanda Adams, it'll be "a holiday concert that’s sure to lift your spirits." Tickets and more information on the SF Symphony site.

RJAM Side-By-Side Concert

Open to the general public by registration, San Francisco Conservatory of Music's Roots, Jazz, and American Music (RJAM) faculty perform side-by-side with students in the program.

SFCM Orchestra with Earl Lee

The SFCM Orchestra, conducted by guest conductor, Earl Lee, performs Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony, along with works by Brahms and Lowell Liebermann.
