Support Our Programs

Sponsorship Package:
Please join us as a sponsor in 2024 to continue the momentum in Civic Center and welcome a diverse audience to these iconic central civic spaces. Now more than ever is a critical time to invite the community and visitors back to reconnect with public life, and your participation is greatly appreciated.

Please see our 2023 Sponsorship Package here; if interested in sponsorship opportunities contact Marlo Sandler, Program Manager, (415) 658-7979; sandler@sfciviccenter.org.

Dog Run:
The UN Plaza Dog Run has generated tremendous community enthusiasm, seeing thousands of visitors every month. A popular community gathering place, it is well used all day, every day by local residents, students and employees. Lend your support to our furry friends by helping to keep this a safe and inclusive space for all with ongoing maintenance and overnight security support. Sponsorship opportunities include donor recognition on signage and seating.

Civic Center Soundtrack:
The installation of quality sound equipment allows for music to be played throughout the day and into the evening, in any kind of weather. Live music, and recorded music from participating performing arts organizations, lifts the spirits of those passing through UN Plaza and Fulton Plaza; reminding all that they are in San Francisco’s premier arts and culture district.

Grove Street Lighting Project:
The three-block stretch of Grove Street, from Market to Van Ness, is the main pedestrian corridor connecting public transit to numerous Civic Center cultural and performance venues. Support this collaborative effort to improve the lighting levels along Grove Street, enhancing neighborhood safety and beauty.

Lunchtime Live Music Series:
This eight-week lunchtime concert series brings a diverse array of live music out to Civic Center Plaza Tuesdays through Thursdays in September and October, perfect for enjoying during the warmer weather months, along with lunch offerings from food trucks and Assembly Café and Beer Garden.

Oktoberfest:
Civic Center Plaza will come alive on Friday evenings in October with festive food, a beer garden, music and games offering fun for all ages. Be a part of these festivities by sponsoring fall fun in Civic Center Plaza.

Civic Center Plaza Tree Lighting:
Help bring holiday joy to the young and young-at-heart by supporting the annual Civic Center Plaza Tree Lighting event! Held ever December, festivities include holiday performances, food, music, and Makers Village DIY activities for kids and adults.

Holiday Fanfare:
Join us in enlivening the District with festive holiday pop-up concerts throughout the month of December on Civic Center sidewalks. An annual tradition since 2013, this year we look forward to featuring a diverse array of musical talent from local arts and cultural organizations.

Clean Team and Ambassadors:
CCCBD’s supplemental maintenance support for Civic Center shows pride and stewardship of the District. Furthermore, addressing issues like litter, graffiti and general upkeep in a timely manner keeps acts of vandalism at bay creating an accessible, equitable and comfortable environment for everyone.

Community Ambassadors assist the public in navigating the District with a welcoming and informed presence; they are easily identified by their orange uniforms. They assist in connecting those in need of medical attention or social service support with the proper agency. They also work near arts venues to enhance the pedestrian experience before and after evening performances and an Ambassador is also stationed at the street-level entrance to the Civic Center Garage.
